Shiatsu Massage
What is Shiatsu Massage?
Shiatsu is a therapy that works on the mind, body and spirit. The aim of the treatment is to balance the flow of energy around the body’s 12 meridians.
Shiatsu is a full body treatment performed through the clothes in order to produce deeper effects.
Shiatsu is the Japanese word for ‘finger pressure’. However, as well as their fingers practitioners also use their palms, elbows, arms, knees and feet to apply pressure to the same acupoints as those used in acupressure and acupuncture to free up the meridians and restore a harmonious energy flow.
